Owner of the business for 35 years now, and in 2012 bought Grant Stewart in as a shareholder and Managing Director. This has enabled Dennis to step out of the day to day running of the business, to focus more on future direction and strategy. Grant & Dennis share the same commitment to a quality service brand, and they have a very clear vision for the company’s development and growth. Continued investment in our people, our product range & technological improvements are paramount; while working alongside other businesses with similar values, whether suppliers, customers or service providers, is an important part of the company’s philosophy. Dennis is married with 3 boys and besides rugby (of course) he enjoys golf, fishing, skiing & keeping the body together.

Grant has been with R&T for over 40 years and in 2012 took up a shareholding and directorship in the company. He has worked through the warehouse, customer services, sales, & for the last few years as Assistant General Manager. He is an integral member of the Reid & Twiname team and has an indepth knowledge of our operations, our products, our customers and the industry. Grant has the high values & business ethics necessary to step up in the business. Grant is married with 2 daughters in their 20’s. He is a single figure handicap golfer, and into family, rugby, fishing and the outdoors.

Grant first started in the industry in 1982 after returning from his OE in the UK. He has had some 40 years involvement in the supply side of the industry from warehouse person to Branch Manager. Grant has worked in both the North & South Islands & is extremely enthusiastic about what he does & how he does it. He enjoys the team environment and the strong company culture at R&T, and has been instrumental in growing the position of R&T in the South Island. Grant has been married to Helena since 1983 and is the proud father of two adult sons and proud grandfather of a grandson.
